In this workshop, you’ll learn techniques to let go of anger and tap into your inner strength.
Using Kundalini yoga, Qigong, breathwork, sound, and other practices, you’ll uncover how to harness your power and find peace and confidence within yourself. Don’t miss this opportunity to transform your relationship with anger and discover a new sense of empowerment. The workshop will close with a long savasana/rest with (optional) ear acupuncture to help your nervous system deeply relax and integrate.
In Chinese Medicine, the Five Elements—Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water—offer a framework for understanding the body, emotions, and nature’s rhythms. Each element is linked to specific organs, emotions, colors, seasons, and tastes, helping us decode patterns in health and behavior.
Spring is the Season of the Wood Element
Spring is the season of Wood, and its associated emotion is anger—often repressed as frustration, irritation, or even depression. Unresolved anger, when ignored, can become one of the most destructive forces in the body, contributing to dis-ease.
We all experience anger, but most of us either don’t acknowledge it, or feel it but quickly sweep it under the rug and don’t deal with it. This workshop offers a safe, non-judgmental, and loving space to acknowledge, process, and release stored anger through embodiment practices that will not only allow you to release the anger, but also allow you to feel the lightness that is underneath, that weight lifted off you, so that you can fully come into your confidence and power.
What You’ll Experience
You’ll explore a unique fusion of Five Element Theory and yogic principles, allowing for immediate integration into your daily life. Using movement, breathwork, meditation, and sound, you’ll connect with and clear emotional blockages in a way that feels both deep and liberating. We will also explore the positive aspect of anger and the great creative potential that it holds.
The practice will end with a healing Acu-Savasana in which you will receive (optional) ear acupuncture and a long rest for your body to deeply integrate.
About Dr. Julie
Dr. Julie Hutsell-Starling is an acupuncturist, health coach, Qigong instructor, and Kundalini yoga, and has spent the last 20+ years exploring the power of the mind-body connection and the power to heal ourselves. She considers herself a Way-Shower, guiding her clients and students back home to who they truly are. She has been working with private clients and acupuncture patients since 2003, and has worked with thousands of individuals over the years.
She creates and teaches embodiment workshops to allow for deep healing to happen through the body. These workshops include physical practices such as breathwork, mindful movement (Qigong and Kundalini yoga), chanting, and meditation, with music and sound healing expertly woven to create unique, deeply healing, and transformative experiences.
